The runVIEW series, originally runVIEW™ CHOICE, consists of three models: runVIEW™ MINI and MIDI, available in smaller sizes suitable for converting standard Cleaver Scientific multiSUB agarose gel tanks into real-time gel visualization systems with runVIEW Real-Time Gel Documentation Systems.

All systems utilize blue light to illuminate fluorescent-stained agarose gels, enabling users to visualize nucleic acids being cleaved in real time. The runVIEW™ CHOICE for MINI integrates a power supply into the main unit, while MIDI incorporates both MINI and MIDI electroforesis tanks, featuring an adjustable blue light illuminator platform. Band visualization through the relevant lid, equipped with an orange spectral emission filter, is achieved without condensation thanks to built-in aspiration.

• Integrated power supply into the main unit – adjustable to a maximum of 150V or 300mA with precise increases of 1V or 1mA for stable voltage or current output; Timer function for up to 999 minutes for prolonged operation.

• Custom combs for specific applications – dual-sided 1 mm preparation combs for nucleic acid retrieval (1/2 sample and 4/16 sample standards) included, along with four multi-channel compatible 96-well thermal cycling blocks and microtiter plates for rapid scanning of nucleic acids (20/28 sample combs). Extra-thick 3 mm preparation combs are also provided for enhanced DNA retrieval.
