Temperature selection is now fully manual, allowing operators to set any temperature between 24°C and 96°C, empowering them to optimize PCR by testing six different temperatures simultaneously in a single thermal cycler run. With heating and cooling rates of 5°C/sec and 3.5°C/sec respectively, the precise temperature control of GTC96S minimizes extremes and fluctuations between stages of each PCR cycle, enabling faster operation times and increased efficiency. Programming is both quick and simple through a user-friendly interface, and pre-programmed methods streamline setup for first-time users. An adjustable heated lid can be programmed to maintain optimal pressure for 0.2 ml tubes and microplates at different temperatures ranging from 60 to 65°C or 100 to 115°C.
